    Alabama Soccer is hosting a 3v3 festival this coming November in Orange Beach!

    • How does forming a team work?
      • Teams are not formed for you. You form teams with a few friends, think up your own team name and register individually. The registration will ask for your team name, team mates and team colours you plan to wear (1 light and 1 dark).
    • Who coaches the teams?
      • Games can be parent coached or player coached. The focus of the weekend is fun! 
    • What if we want to play but don't have any one to form a team with?
      • Enter your contact info in the google document below to be contacted by others that want to form teams.

    • Can we form teams with anyone?
      • Absolutely! This event is open to ALL players. So long as your team is all within the age bracket you would like to compete in.
    • What do teams wear?
      • Teams are responsible for wearing matching or very similar colors (1 light jersey and 1 dark).
      • Jerseys are not provided.
      • All players should be wearing cleats and shinguards.
    • How many tickets to the SEC final do we get?
      • Each registered player will recieve 4 free tickets to the final - regular admission $5/ticket.
    • How will games work?
      • 2-3 games Saturday (depending on bracket size and interest)
      • 1-2 games Sunday morning prior to SEC Final.


    Festival Rules:

    1. ROSTERS - 6 players max may be on a roster.
    2. GAME LENGTH - 12 min halves with a 4 min halftime.
    3. KICK OFF - May be taken in any direction.
    4. SUBBING - May occur on any dead ball.
    5. GOAL SCORING - A goal can only be scored from a touch that is across the halfway line, you cannot score from within your own half.
    6. GOAL BOX - No player may touch the ball within the goal box, however any player may move through the goal box. Any part of the ball or player's body on the line is considered in the goal box. A penalty occurs if a defender touches the ball in the goal box, a penalty kick is awarded to the offensive team. If an offensive player touches the ball within the goal box, a goal kick is awarded to the defensive team. If the ball comes to a complete stop in the goal box, regardless of which team touched it last, a goal kick is awarded to the defensive team.
    7. GOAL KICK - A goal kick can be taken anywhere across the end line and not in the goal box.
    8. PENALTY KICK - A penalty kick is taken at the kickoff spot and must be 1 touch. All other players must be behind half field and out of the the circle.
    9. KICK-INS - The ball shall be kicked into play from the sideline instead of thrown.
    10. INDIRECT KICKS - All dead ball kicks are indirect EXCEPT penalty kicks and corners.
    11. 5 YARD RULE - The defending team must stand at least 5 yards away from any restart.
    12. SLIDE TACKLING - If a slide tackle attempt is made, it is an indirect free kick for the other team at the spot of offense.
    13. UNEVEN MATCH-UP - If a team finds themselves in an uneven match-up, they will be encouraged to add a player to the field. This creates a better environment for all players to develop and enjoy the game.
    14. SPORTSMANSHIP - Players, parents and coaches are expected to act in the highest order of sportsmanship at all times. Abuse of referees will not be tolerated. Any instance of misconduct will disqualify the responsible team from the event.
